Riva Ridge Runs, "Riva" is a 1996 16'3'' TB mare. Check out her bloodlines. Riva is a lovely mover, a fantastic jumper, and she is a sweetheart. Vance was lucky enough to be paired with Riva when he was 16 and she was 8. They had both been competing at the preliminary level. They started right away at preliminary and it wasn't long before they moved up to intermediate. After several years of being competitive at intermediate, Vance was lucky enough to complete a CCI** and move up to advanced with Riva. Riva was one of those excellent competitors that is a once in a lifetime horse. Unfortunately the upper levels were strenuous on her body and now she is doing dressage. If they had continued at the advanced level we are sure Riva would have been eyeing Rolex CCI****. Riva loves to gallop and jump. Even though she is doing wonderful with her dressage work we know that she really wants to be out jumping! Riva is a lovely type and we may look into breeding her in the future as well. Update***- Riva is in foal to show jumping phenom and USEF 2012 horse of the year Flexible!! The foal is due in fall 2014
